Adventures with Ollie: Beware of the Green Monster

The Adventures with Ollie books are heartwarming stories for the whole family that follow the adventures of young Luke and Kat and their trustworthy dog, Ollie. The books in this series were purposely designed to help children learn how to lean on God, get back to good family values, and help them’ navigate normal developmental stages. The first book addresses jealousy, the second helps the reader to see the ability in all people, and this third book focuses on perseverance. The fourth book is due to be released next year.

I recently read the book of Esther in the Bible and was blown away by her selflessness, her faith, and her courage. Sometimes in life, it may seem easier to walk away from or give up on something that appears to be or actually is dangerous, scary, heartbreaking, or seemingly insurmountable.

God loves to take a humble servant such as fishermen to be his disciples, young Mary to be the mother of God, and do amazing works through them. He has also chosen you to do His great works. Each day we have the choice to reach out and pray to God and ask for Him to do the impossible through us. Ask to be His heart and hands today. Wait until you see what happens!
